Huckleberry Karen - Amazing post – and so well put. Many people think that working with flowers is oh so glamorous. Not so much at 3am when you are heading to the flower mart in your sweats!! Perhaps between your busy travel schedule and weddings – we can try and grab that cup of coffee we’ve been talking about for the last year. You are literally 1/2 a mile away from me :)

soapie - have you written about the brick layers before? no wait, i think i heard it in a church sermon before. its great how sometimes other peoples stories, become your own stories, and you cannot remember when or where they started, just that they are meaningful to you and they help you to press on.

some jobs appear more glamorous than others, but you’re right.. we often overlook all the struggle that goes behind it. i think my job feels the most UNglamorous, nevertheless, there are the crucial moments that are heartbreaking yet rewarding, which remind me how God created each of us for a purpose. and i think its probably the same revelation for all the other “rockstarlifestyles” as you may say.

you should write more. although i know you don’t have time. =) i miss the xanga days!
