On Saturday, I had the privilege of shooting Kollaboration San Francisco at the Palace of Fine Arts. Kollaboration is an Asian and Pacific Islander movement that has been hosting shows all over the United States for the past 10 years. This is San Francisco’s first, and it was a sold out crowd of 1000, with musicians, comics, dancers, and performers from all over the United States. Here are some of the pictures from that amazing evening!

Sound check.
Backstage. Taking a quick nap before the show.

Anddd the doors are finally open!

Nicki Sun. Host, producer, and creative media extraordinaire.

Again, Groove Against The Machine.

Slashton

Mickey Cho and Hanna Baek, winners of the People’s Choice Award.

Sway Penala. He was one of the semi-finalists for American Idol Season 5.

Cassandra Soo, Kollaboration SF public relations

Andrew Plan. Great guy, great music.

Comic Joey Guila. This guy is just absolutely hilarious!

Alex Salazar, Grand Prize winner, with his percussionist Vincent Wang. This kid is 17 years old and the youngest performer that night. Their reaction to the news is just priceless.

Kollaboration SF 2010 staff. Without this amazing crew and the volunteers, the show would not have been possible.
