I’m generally a planner. I like to more or less know where I’m going, who’s doing what, where we’re going for dinner, etc. But this year, I find myself setting out on trips with only half the itinerary planned out. While this tends to result in some fair amount of last-minute scrambling, I love the flexibility it provides, and the freedom to go with the flow.

So the evening I touched down in New York City, I texted Christina: “Hey I’m in town, wanna shoot tomorrow?” She was busy, but how about the day after? Perfect. Wardrobe? Location? No idea, but meh, we’ll figure something out!

We did.
