Riviera Maya, Mexico destination wedding photographer | Azul Sensatori | Winnie and Jing

Winnie and Jing are such an incredibly sweet couple. Whenever I meet up with potential clients for the first time, we usually spend about 40-60 minutes chatting over coffee or tea. But when I met up with Winnie and Jing, we ended up spending over two and a half hours telling stories and sharing and laughing until the place closed. I knew we were going to have a great time together.

Their wedding took place at the brand new Azul Sensatori Resort near Puerto Morelos in the Riviera Maya region of Mexico. (If you don’t know where that is, think Cancun and Playa del Carmen.)  Although it was a relatively small wedding with their closest friends and family, everybody had such a great time. Even while working on their pictures, I couldn’t help but smile and remember their laughter. Anyway, there is probably a lot more to be said about Winnie and Jing, but we’ll let the photos do the talking. I had such a hard time picking out my favorite pictures, and in the end, I could only narrow it down to about 40 images. But you really should check out their slideshow instead. =)

I am due to get wed at the Sensatori in June. The hotel looks great but they seem to milk every cent from you. Even the wedding location is just four poles with the most basic sheers costing 220 USD.ReplyCancel

@Richard: They can also be quite restrictive. Double check all their rules, especially when it comes to the photography. Congratulations on your upcoming wedding!!ReplyCancel

  • love those shots on the dock!! great job my friend.ReplyCancel

  • I found your blog while searching Google for wedding images from the resort. These are beautiful! My brother is getting married at Azul Sensatori next week and my husband and I are going to shoot some photos and after seeing yours, we’re even more excited!! I think one of my favorite shots is the last one on the dock.

When you mention that they are restrictive, what type of rules are you talking about?ReplyCancel
